May 29th found Gabrielle and I bright and early at Cecil Green Park House for the fabulous wedding of R and S who had flown up from the US to celebrate their wedding in Vancouver. We couldn’t have wished for a better day…..a stunning bride, handsome groom, wonderful wedding party, family and friends and of course great weather! It also helped that I got to work with a Dream team of Pamper me Pretty for make-up and hair, Oasis Flowers, Marliss Productions for video and Hot Wax for DJing the party. Congratulations R and S….we had so much fun working with you!

My May long weekend ended with a beautiful Engagement Session photographing the adorable Joanna and Robbie in Stanley Park. Joanna’s hair and make-up by the amazing Jayna Marie.

Gabrielle and I were up early (and I mean early!) and ready to head out on May 23rd for the second part of my long weekend marathon. Today was Mabel and Robert’s wedding and it turned out to be a day full of fun, laughter, rain storms, sunshine, dogs and ice cream! We were having so much fun at the photo session that it was hard to tear ourselves away but there was so much more to capture with a traditional tea ceremony, delicious 14 course banquet and of course games.

My first shoot this weekend was for the fabulous wedding of Kristine and Minh. Blending elements from Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino and Western cultures this was a wonderful day full of the love of family and friends. Beautiful details and locations ensured I was able to capture stunning shots throughout the day.

Yesterday I had a fabulous day in the studio with 3 wonderful families all returning for sessions with Bellies and Babies. With the weather being so unpleasant out I am beyond thrilled to have this beautiful natural light space to photograph in. Thank you to everyone for returning for your family pictures, it means so much to me to have loyal clients like yourselves.

First up was Jessica’s Family and I am losing count now of the number of times I have had the opportunity to photograph them. 3 year old Joslyn has all the moves and attitude of a top super model and 18 month old Caleb made me work hard just trying to capture him…he moves so fast now.

Next up was Vicki’s family. I first photographed this lovely family 2 years ago when they were just 4, now beautiful little Maeve has arrived and smiled and giggled her the way through the session. It was really wonderful to see how the 2 big brothers took care of their new little sister.

Third Session of the day was Ingrid’s family returning for their 3rd session with me. I photographed both Wesley and Nelson when they were around 7 months old….now it was baby Ewan’s turn to join in the fun. Thank you Ingrid and Graham for bringing your lovely family back for new pictures….I hope everyone had lots of fun at the session!

About 3 years ago I photographed Helena’s family when it was just three of them. Now Erik has a baby brother, Viktor and I was delighted when Helena called to book a new session.

I love flowers! So when I heard about a new floral studio opening up in town I was very excited. More so when I was asked over to shoot some images of the space and products. Mandy Karpoff is a highly talented Floral Designer capable of creating a fabulous one-off arrangement or designing for a complete event. After shooting some beautiful outdoor images of Mum To Be Kate’s belly recently, I was excited to meet her and husband Nik’s baby. At just 6 weeks old Kate and Nik invited me back to meet baby Aiden at a family baby shower. Aiden was a really superb model baby and put up with many clothing changes, poses and had the cutest expressions at just the right times.

Congratulations kate and Nik!! Aiden is simply adorable and it’s been wonderful working with you.
